I've worked as a webmaster for 7 years at an e-commerce company. The company is currently one of the top 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America. The office is located in Mountain View, California.
I remember my first webpage was built in high school, in 1998. To some it may seem a long time ago, to others it was only yesterday. Back then the public schools were using netscape as a default browser, and google wasn't known to many. I studied collage at Chico state where I majored in communication design emphasis on internet communications. Unlike many majors which by the title people have a basic idea of what they studied. My major consumes of many different areas of education including verbal, writing, media and visual communication. From job training point of view, I learn a lot of design skills including drawing, color theory, photography; software training including photoshop, illustrator, indesign, dreamweaver, and flash. After I graduated I started working as a webmaster in Mountain View. As I started to take on my complicated projects at work, I felt my programming skills were not enough; therefore, while I worked full time I took many programming classes to enhance my knowledge. I later received a AS in internet technology and certification in web programming at Foothill Collage.
